WARMACHINE : CYGNAR STARTER.

Today was a good day! I had my first experience of Warmachine! Just a couple of 11p games with only the starter boxed sets! A really nice game system with balanced rules and as everybody told me "No single miniature is a waste of money'', something that is great for me since I have whole units (or even worse armies) in my collection that never fired a signle shot or through a single blow to the tabletop.

So here is my starter Cygnar box in all its glory! I really look forward to more and bigger games!

STORM LORDS : DEVASTATOR CENTURION (2/5)

I managed to finish the second Centurion for the Storm Lords project I am building! Also I took the chance to play against a White Scar, bike themed 1850p army list with my competitive Tau roster! I didn't fare well but I am sure that I will do way better next time! What I did like was the way a bike army plays nowdays and this realisation gave me enough motivation to not stray again to a new project but to stay οn the path! Of cource I painted some more melta guns for my Salamanders but thats a story for another time! Never the less, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!

FARSIGHT ENCLAVES : XV88 BROADSIDE [5/6]

I am getting myself ready for the last Tournament of 2013. For one more time I will trust my honor on my Tau Army! I am relying heavilly to my XV88s so I finished painting one more! I Intent to bring the might of 3 XV104s and 6 XV88s. Lately I find the Kroot Mercenaries more and more attractive as a strategy so maybe the new year will find me painting some of those models!

STORM LORDS : CENTURION (1/6)

I said ''YES'' to the new Centurions models! Well, they are actually not so bad and I had really fun painting the first model! I even magnetized the weapons for some more versatility! I doubt that I will use the heavy bolters but the Las Cannons are weapons you can difficultly ignore! In any case here is the first model! I hope you all like it!

FARSIGHT'S ENCLAVES : XV88 BROADSIDE no4

In the recent Independ Club Tournament my XV88Broadside was the absolut best units for my army! I went with two units of three XV88s all armed with High Yeld Missile Pods and Early Warning Overide Pods.The first unit was also armed with Smart Missile Systems.The second was armed with Twin Linked Plasma Rifles! To make things even worse I gave my commander the Puretide Engram Neurochip wargear and I attached him in one of those units! It worked well, really well! So now that I have some extra time I will upgrade the paintjob of the second unit !Here is the first model!

SALAMANDERS : COMMAND SQUAD

The last couple of weeks I was really busy! The first of those weeks I was painting a competitive Tau Empire roster for the Indipendend Club Tournament.The second week I was too busy with my job. So in this free weekend I was able to finish the Salamander Command Squad I was painting!

SALAMANDERS : COMMAND SQUAD (3/5)

The Sternguard Veteran kit is one of my absolut favourites! I was planning to buy one and add a power weapon to turn them into a Honor Guard. Alas, this was not meant to be! Playtasting proved that Thunder Hammer Terminators tend to fare way better. So, take a look to the command squad! No wait a minute, what did you mean I can have 5 Melta guns in a Drop Pod just for 185p? So the plans changed and the new kit will equip my new Command Squad! Here are the first 3!

FARSIGHT ENCLAVES : XV104 RIPTIDE

Nothing can motivate a painter more than a tournament, so I am going to attend the biggest Greek Tournament and I want to play with my Tau! So I painted one more XV104 Riptide in order to have more possibilities to score a victory or two! Playtesting led me to use more Riptides to be able to overcome the hard AV14 threats! There was no way for me to crack open 2 Land Raiders but now thanks to the ''smash'' special rule I have at least a last minute tool. That's all for today! Thanks for watching and have a nice day.

DARK ANGELS : RAZORBACK

One more Razorback this week for my Dark Angels 3rd Tactical Squad! The ''Barakiel'' is another model I managed to revive back from the ''failed project box''. I even managed to paint a small freehand on its hull. A watcher in the dark bearing two swords! I am very pleased with the result and maybe I will try it on a land raider I plan to restore! FARSIGHT ENCLAVES : XV88 BROADSIDE UNIT

Hello everyone! Today was a good day as I managed to finish painting the last model of the XV88 Broadside unit I was painting! Finishing a new squad is so rewarding, especially when I feel so damn happy about the results! I hope you all agree! My PaintStation is full with half finished models! I have just few hours of work on my new XV104 Riptide and I also restore an old Razorback for my Dark Angels and finally two more bikers for my Storm Lords project! Stay tuned as more models are bound to join the Empires!!!

DARK ANGELS : COMMAND SQUAD COMPLETE

After so many Tau models I finished the last models for my Dark Angels Command Squad! These two models are special indeed!

Chaplain Asmodai is a very old model and one of the first models I ever purchased! The venerable Chaplain was painted in the black and red colours of my very first Space Marine army and I was looking for a way to strip the old paint from the model to paint it anew! Thankfully, a good friend showed me a really easy way to do it so... Chaplain Asmodai is now ready to see battle!

The Standard bearer on the other hand, is coming from the old range of Citadel plastic kit so nothing really intresting here! What makes this model special is the freehand banner! Now hold your horses it's not really my work! A junior member of Athens Battle Bunker Club named Aris Aggoglosakis, a gifted painter and a shit for brains youth, was kind enough to paint this ''Standard of Devastation''. Thank you so much Aris!

FARSIGHT'S ENCLAVES : XV88 BROADSIDE

The XV88s unit didn't let me down on those last games! They did incredible damage to anything they were able to hurt proving that to go out there without at least a unit is a folly! I ussually run mine with HYMP, SMS and Early Warning Override (EWO). This unit really helped me out so I rewarded this performance with paint! I hope you all like it!

Have to admit I love the colour scheme of the Farsight Enclaves Codex, so I painted this XV104 Riptide to boost the already fearsome firepower of my new collection! I hope you all like it.

VAMPIRE COUNTS : THE BEGINNING

After some more games with my Dwarves I found out a terrible fact!My friends are finding this army boring to play against. That was a major setback for me. I play Warhammer Fantasy just for fun and if my friends are not finding a game with me enjoyable then what’s the reason to play with me? So, I dig out of the box of forgotten project this unit of Skeletons! I really need more practice painting the Vampire Counts but I think that this is a good start!

Storm Lords:Bike Squad 30% Complete!

That was a busy week alright! I didn't have time to even post my latest addition to my ''Storm Lords'' project! Two more bikes are entering my small but ambitious collection and one is armed with the dreaded new space marine toy the ''Grav-Gun''. Grav gun is an amazing tool when you have to deal with the latest threats I am going to face! 3-5 XV104 Riptide lists or Wrathknights heavy lists! So stay tuned as more bikers are inbound!

Farsight Enclaves : Shas Vre Ob'lotai 9-0

Τhe Farsight Enclaves Supplement was a great motivation to cast aside the silent promise I made to my self to not buy the new XV88 model! I bought it promising my self again that this XV88 will be the first and the last to grace my paint station.This last promise was also really short lived! Modeling this new kit made me to change my mind again and bought 2 more! No, I can't make ANY promise that I will not paint another 6!!!

Ob'lotais suit is not manned by a veteran Tau pilot, but by a AI software (engram) progammed to act like the venerable pilot Ob'lotai, the Farsight's first Shas'Vre.

I really like this model and I don't regret the investment I made the least! I hope you all like it too!

FARSIGHT ENCLAVES : SHAS'O BRAVESTORM

I am really excited about my new Farsight Project! I just finished Commander Bravestorm and I am really pleased about this model! I faced some difficulties because I was not able to decide how to model the Onager Gauntlet. I browsed the net for a conversion but I wasn't able to find one that pleased my eyes so I decided to let it as it is! I hope you all like it!

STORM LORDS : THE TEST MODELS

The new Space Marine Codex was a really strong motivation to paint some of my too many bikes! I was planning a Ravenwing Roster just for fun but the Space Marines are doing it so much better!
Having read all of the Codex and despising so much the White Scars Chapter I decided to do a succesor chapter, the Storm Lords! The white colour is a hell to paint especialy for me, a painter that is not willing to paint battle damage on his models! So these two models are just my first attempt! I hope you all like them.

Dark Angels : Command Squad 4/6

More models for the Dark Angels Command Squad I am painting! This time an Apothecary and the Sergeant of the squad are reporting for duty! I am sure that this squad is point heavy and also useless! Never the less, the Dark Angels Project is not about competitiveness! If I want to enjoy an easygoing game where a unit's performance is coming second then the Dark Angels will be ready to answer the call! Also, on my paintstation a new project is ready to reveal itself... but more about it in a few days! Stay cool everyone!

TYRANIDS : ZOANTHROPES

The Tyranids are at large on my paintstation! These two Zoanthropes were a gift from a very dear friend! I don't know if Zoanthropes will be usefull on the new rumored codex but I happily accepted them and painted them! Thanks Aris! I will cherrish them and play with them a lot!

DWARFS: MORE THUNDERERS

My Dwarf project is up and running! The second rank of Thunderers is finished! Additionally, I corrected a minor mistake I did when I was painting my Dwarf Warriors! Back then I painted the musician from the Thunderers regiment! So now I finished the Dwarf Warrior Musician and I can consider the mistake corrected! I hope you all like them!

FARSIGHT ENCLAVES:SHAS'O BRIGHTSWORD.

Shas'O Farsight was a really nice model to paint! I really enjoyed painting this particular model so I decided to paint one more XV8! I read the ''FarSight Enclaves supplement'' and I was impressed by Commander BrightSword! The fact that he can use his fusion blasters in close combat is amazing! So, I converted his fusion blades by adding some more height to the regular fusion blaster a shield generator and the target lock bits! I didn't forget to add some magnets too! So now this model can change its weaponry to better suit the battlefield conditions!
